Ray was born April 25, 1935 to Lela and Ed McDonald in Tularosa N. Mex. He was a master mech, he built his first running car at 13. He worked as an underground miner in Bisbee AZ., also as a mech in many Dodge dealerships in AZ and OR.
He enjoyed racing-drags and super stock, he had a partnership in a hard rock gold mine in Jacksonville Or. He belonged to a coffee gang, solving the world's problems every morning.
He is survived by his wife Joey, son Raymond Lee McDonald Jr., brothers; Bobby Pat, and Mike, sisters; Geraldine Wray and Betty Wallace. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Edward McDonald and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He had a strong faith in HIS LORD.
