Rex D. Suthard, 77 died Oct. 10, 2010 at Emanuel Hospital in Portland. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday Oct. 22, 2010 @ 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, OR.
Rex D. Suthard was born Aug. 27, 1933 in Alaina, Oklahoma to James and Eleanor (Acres) Suthard. He served in the US Navy for 4 years receiving an honorable discharge in 1956. He worked as an Electrical engineer for 50 years. His hobbies include Fishing, flying, camping, family gatherings and telling stories. He was always buying and selling - they called him the great negotiator! Always bartering.
He is survived by his wife Arlene Suthard of Hillsboro, Children; Linda (Mike) Jodoin, Lisa (Brian) McMullin, Caryn (Brian) Scheffer, Cathy Suthard, James (Karen) Suthard, Cheryl (Sam) Piersall, Pam Born, Steve (Nancy) Boicourt and Jim (Lisa) Boicourt. 3 sisters; Lois (Hugh) Coffelt, Connie (Dwayne) Cook and Sharon Warsaw. 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
