Robert John Klingsporn

Robert John "Rob" Klingsporn Jr. 60, a resident of the Aloha community died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at St. Vincent Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Viewing and visitation was held Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 2pm to 6pm at Donelson~Fir Lawn Memorial Center, 1070 West Main in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11:30 am at Donelson~Fir Lawn with Pastor LB Goodyear officiating. Graveside services will follow at Fir Lawn Memorial Park in Hillsboro.
Robert John Klingsporn Jr. was born November 26, 1951 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Robert J. and Donna (Olson) Klingsporn Sr. He was raised and educated in Aloha having graduated from high school in 1970 where is began his love of music. He worked at the Parklanes Covered Bridge Restaurant where he began his love of cooking.
Following his education he began playing music, traveled extensively and performed on musical tours. His performers nickname was "Spider". Rob had a recording studio in his home where he recorded his own music as well as other musicians. He worked at Payless Drug for fifteen years, also working in the Jones Farm Catering for Intel with his family.
Among his personal interests he loved his dogs, his music, his cooking, gardening and entertaining his family and friends. Rob provided the Air Show Party every year for a decade until people would drop by just to see if there was a party every year. He enjoyed smoking good cigars and had quite a collection of them. As he faced health challenges he would spend lots of time with his brother, visiting, watching movies, and smoking cigars in the "Boys Room". He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Donna Klingsporn of Aloha, three sons and daughters in law; Robert III and Erica Klingsporn of North Plains, Joe and Heidi Klingsporn of Hillsboro, Miles and Ami Klingsporn of Birch Bay, Wa, three daughters and sons in law; Jenni Sue and Dwayne Campbell of Hillsboro, Jenny Lee and Ken Hines of Granite Falls, Wa, Kim Klingsporn of Blaine, Wa, two brothers; Scott and Lisa Klingsporn, Rodger Klingsporn all of Aloha, sister, Linda and Ken Armitage of Banks. Also surviving are his ten grandchildren; Cheyanne, Caleb, Ashley, Raiya, Ean, Cameron, Kierah, Julia, Logan and Cooper, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests remembrancs maybe memorial contributions sent to the Aloha High School Music Program in Robs' memory.
