Ireland, Ronald B., age 65 born Feb. 23rd 1950, passed away Feb. 26, 2015. Ron was born in Hillsboro and raised in Forest Grove graduating in 1969. He served in the National Guard and continued on to PCC earning an Associates Degree and becoming an Automotive Technician. Ron enjoyed working on cars, his Harley Davidson, dirt bike racing and drag racing. He loved the outdoors, photography, traveling to the Hawaiian Islands & the Grand Tetons. Upon retiring his most beloved hobby was building and completing a wooden canoe. Ron enjoyed as well spending quality time picking up his grandson at Catlin Gabel and enjoyed the other families there and being a part of that community. Ron will best be known for being a loving and devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather who also cherished his St. Bernard dogs. Ron is survived by his wife Claudia Ireland of almost 39 years and his two daughters Lori and spouse James, Lesli and spouse Jacy, and his four Grandchildren. Ron will be remembered as a kind, caring man loved by all and who touched many. Please join us in remembering Ron at a Celebration of Life Ceremony on Saturday March 7th at Donelson Funeral Chapel, 1070 West Main St., Hillsboro 97123.
