Ronald J. McGuire age 63 of Hillsboro died at home June 11, 2011.
He was born Dec. 20, 1947 in Eugene, Oregon. A resident of Hillsboro for 35 years, he had also resided in Springfield, Oregon for 20 years.
He received an associates degree in diesel mechanics from Lane Community College.
On Dec. 4, 1971 he married Irene Dobbins. Ron drove truck for United Grocers for 25 years working the night shift. Ron retired in 2003. Member of the LDS Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, white water rafting and flying radio controlled airplanes. Member of Clark County Radio Control Society.
Survivors are his wife Irene McGuire, son Ron McGuire, and daughters Michele McGuire O'Rourke, Wendy McGuire, brother Mike McGuire, sisters Sue McGuire, Joyce Smith Terri Barton and, Julie Hollenbeck, mother Gloria McGuire, grandson Jack McGuire, granddaughters Hallie McGuire and, Tess McGuire.
Funeral Services will be held on Wed. June 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Golden Road LDS Chapel in Hillsboro.
Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery Leaburg, OR.
