Shirley was born in Ragan, Neb., to Clifford and Fern Hawkinson. The family moved to Oregon and she was a graduate of Hillsboro High School.
She married Clifford "Harvey" Thompson in 1956. She worked for Tektronix and enjoyed time with family and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey.
She is survived by her son Clifford (Ruth) Billingsley; daughter, Debbie Snook; son, Brian (Jan) Thompson; sisters, Barbara Muhly and Sharon Sabel; companion, Beaches; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 26 and 27, at Donelson Fir Lawn Memorial Center, 1070 W. Main St.
