Tudor "Tom" Wentworth Cornish was born on May 6, 1933 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He was the only child of Annie Allan Cornish and Tom Cornish, British Nationals. He died on July 13, 2014 @ 8:30 PM in the comfort of his home with his family near.
Tom voluntarily enlisted in the US Army and served in the Korean war. He became a naturalized US Citizen, because of his voluntary Army service, on June 16, 1954.
Tom married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Culp, on March 26, 1955 after proposing to her on the Huntington Beach Pier in Long Beach, California. They lived in Lakewood, California until 1964. They moved to Hillsboro, OR in 1965. Tom and Sharon had shared 59 years if marriage at the time of is death.
Tom was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 35 years. He began his career in California and then worked in a Portland office after his move to Oregon. He very rarely missed a day of work.
Tom was the loving father of two children: Jeffrey Allan born in 1958 and Annette Louise born in 1961. He shared a love of classic cars, especially Buicks, with his son. They often attended classic car shows together. He enjoyed attending his son's football and track events. Like his daughter, he was very fond of animals and doted on his Jack Russell Terrier, "Lacey Jayne" and his late beloved cat, "Stubby."

Tom is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Annette; son Jeff; daughter-in-law, Monica; granddaughters Leiran and Heather and his constant companion dog, Lacey Jayne. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his half-sister Marion.
