Travis Waldo Banker

Travis Waldo Banker, 37, passed away February 22, 2025 at his home in Banks, Oregon.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Downtown Hilton, 921 SW 6th Ave Portland, OR 97205.

His cremated remains will be placed into an urn at his home in Banks and later moved to Cottonwood, Arizona.

Travis was born April 20, 1987 in Denver, Colorado. He is a graduate of Valley Catholic High School and Portland State University earning a bachelor's degree in accounting. He worked for Geffen Mesher from 2018 through 2023.

Travis loved Portland, running, and music (mainly rap), R&B, and the oldies, especially The Temptations. Travis was a very kind, humorous, empathetic person and a staunch Democrat. He loved his family and loved children. He enjoyed watching music videos and dancing, as well as traveling numerous locations with his girlfriend, Connie Mar. He loved watching sports with his father (Daddi-O) and visiting baseball parks. He loved his mom's homemade salad and said no one could make it as good as her. He also loved eating at Fire on the Mountain, Southpark Seafood, and eating raw oysters. He loved looking neat, wearing cologne, and baseball caps. He also loved eating Thanksgiving dinner.

Travis is survived by his father, Michael Waldo Banker of Banks; mother, Gwendolyn Banker of Banks; brother, Jason Gregory Stage along with Jason's wife Katie and son Alexander, all of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister, Melanie Ann Bonney and her son Dawsen, of Cottonwood, Arizona, and her daughter, Brittany DeTemple and husband Clay Newsom of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; sister, Cherie Montoya and her husband Kevin, their sons Tomàs, Diego and Diego's wife, Cassidy and daughter, Lacey Lucille all of Thornton, Colorado; his brother, Troy Banker and partner Lizzie Perrott, and their son, Mikey Waldo Banker, of Portland; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Last but not least, the love of Travis' life, Connie Mar, of Portland.
