Wanda Alvora Grant was born May 18, 1925 to Aurora and Raymond T. Keener in El Reno, Oklahoma. Wanda was the youngest of three daughters and the family later moved to San Diego County, California where they resided in National City. She graduated from Sweetwater Union High School in 1942. She was proud of her career as a vault teller for Bank of America and later as an administrative secretary at Grossmont School District. In retirement she and Kenny moved to Hillsboro, OR.

Wanda enjoyed camping, dancing, and shopping, but mostly she loved doing anything with and for her family. Wanda and Kenny were long-time members of the El Cajon, CA and Hillsboro Elks Lodge. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend; the lives of many are richer for having been touched by Wanda's love, laughter, and generosity.
