Losing a loved one and planning a memorial is without question an emotionally draining ordeal. With us, however, it doesn’t have to drain you financially.
"As a full-service funeral home, Donelson has been serving the Hillsboro area for more than 100 years. We understand that losing a loved one is difficult. We believe every life deserves to be honored. It's through dedication & commitment to personalize each service with photo collages, photo memorial folders and open sharing of memories that we are able to create a meaningful tribute." — Marlene McIntire, Funeral Home Manager

Please join us this Memorial Day as we honor our fallen heroes with a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 at Fir Lawn Memorial Park. Remembrance is an important part of what we do, so we encourage you to make it part of your Memorial Day weekend. The first Memorial Day ceremony was observed on May 30, 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Today, these Memorial Day ceremonies bring veterans, families, and communities together, and continue to prove that the bond formed in military service spans generations.
